Yes,
We live in hope, die in despair.

This was on last week's ABC program "Catalyst". E-Flex gets a mention towards the end.
"Who Killed the Electric Car?" gets a bit of a mention as well.

A plug in hybrid sounds great, but i'd have to increase my pv and wind to accomodate charging. Being hybrid there'd be the petroleum backup.
When the fair comes to town next year I'll visit the fortune tellers tent, maybe she'll have a peek ahead for me!

Hi Ralph,
Upsize your PV and wind system and then drive for free.
Is this a problem? :D

A lot of our driving is not done at highway speeds.
So slow down and buy a NEV.
There is a company that has been producing not just talking and has put more that 40,000 NEV's on the road. and they are built in the USA.
Why take the family car to buy groceries or local shopping take the electric NEV...help to save the planet...one vehicle at a time.
There are options now...you don't have to wait for some engineer to create down the road...

Greetings Michael,
I agree completely about the majority of city driving trips. Just wish I lived in a little more urban environment. Wait... no I don't. I like the rural life environment. That means a highway speed rated electric vehicle for me.
I see Global is a division of Daimler Chrysler. They part of the sale to potentially Magna? or would Daimler keep this division separate?
I also noticed no mention of Canada in the dealer network options. Are these NEV's rated for use in Canada?
I would love to build some automation for the assembly / handling / testing of NEV's and / or components. Can you hook me up?
Best regards,
Mark

I would assume that since DaimlerChrysler sells cars in Canada that GEM's would be available.
I am not familiar with the law's in Canada, it' a full time job keeping up with ours.
www.gemcar.com will give you some insight as to what they build.
As for rural life I am a sailor and live in San Francisco so I am in hog heaven...
I spoke to a group in San Francisco the other day about the reason for NEV's and the reason that I like selling them.
Feels good to help save the Planet...one vehicle at a time.
If you will go to www.sfcjg.com you will be able to see what we do here in the City by the Bay.
