CFL's and Heat

I'm sure most of the people who live with differant forms of solar ,don't have to many regular incandescent bulbs kicking around anymore . Heres the 2 side by side of the same wattage

Try putting a thermal image of a halogen bulb next to a CFL, that would be a shocker! Those things run several hundred C, enough to start a fire (and they have).

With 1/5 of the energy use for the equivalent light output I've replaced just about all bulbs in my house with CFLs. It's a no-brainer, especially for a cheap Dutchman :D...
