Your right Paul. Plum Hollow already has a que waiting for the micro-fit finalization...deposits down and everything. The renewable energy business is going to have a fine old couple of years.

We are looking into the program, but being off grid doesn't help. There's provision for net metering applicants in the draft releases, but nothing if you don't have an electric service with the grid. We're getting the ducks in a row, ready to pick them off one at a time (ha ha, it's never one thing at a time!).

If one only looks at the return on investment (I'm one who never has with our present system), it's quite good. ZBorrowing at 1% over prime (total 3.25%) your monthly revenue still over 8% per year on investment. That's much better than anything in my portfolio. If you're staying at your address, and can put up with the construction hassles then it's a no-brainer. And then theres the accelerated capital cost allowance...write off 50% in the first year.

You've got lots of room in the back yard, just have to keep the kids toys on the soft side (nerf footballs, soccer balls and such)l.
