I'm a freelanced Writer doing some research on progressive power generation policy, and came across a site for the Ontario Power Workers Union that seems to advocate a responsable reliance on Nuclear and Coal, while Renewable methods are optimized over time.
The larger context of this site seems to fully support Renewables, and introduces issues not normally considered by the general public. However, does anyone here think that this stance offers a reasonable and realistic approach to long term progress, or would the public perception of (cleaned up) Coal and Nuclear for 'baseload' requirements be seen as a negative...Outside of the larger context?
Could a Power Workers Union actually shift Public perceptions?
Thanks for any feedback on what could be certainly be considered a contentious subject
