2kw mobile show truck

Hello all,
We are making a 2kw wind demonstration truck
on this truck will be a 10 meter hydraulic tower and a 2kw hummer windgenerator
The system will be completed with a PVI 4000 windinterface and a Aurora inverter
Next week we expect the tower to be operational
question :
Has anyone done this before and can you share expierence with me

Neat idea Cor!
Where did you find the tower? Are these from China? I know of one guy here in Canada that's importing hydraulic tilt-up towers from China, I believe they're 18 meters high. He was planning to use those with Scirocco wind turbines on top.

we have allso the 12 meter version
and you are right the biggest is 18 meter

Today we have put the tower on the trailer
everything looks good and is working
now wait for wind
on the site of the trailer we are going to install solarpannels
so we have a mobile wind and solar demonstration car

I have seen on a website a smaller demonstration trailer which combined solar panels and a 1 kW wind generator. It is a small company in Ayr Ontario with a different idea about limiting the rotating speed of the wind generator when the wind is strong. It uses electronics of some sort to slow the blades and even stop them if the wind hit 90 kmph. It is something I don't know much about though.
