I'm expecting to have a 1 Kw array installed in 8-12 months under the australian govt rebate scheme--..
But,,,, because of the baeucratic paper work ,,I will need an Engineers Certificate ,,probably recognised in Australia, for the footings ,steelwork Etc..
The site is 40 Metres from the house ,,sloping ground ,rocky soil,, steel is 3x3x1/4 inch structual steel off a tv tower, heavy galvanized.

I have the steel, concret mixer, expertise, welding gear, and 50 years in rigging, external civil works, electrical works,Etc to carry out these tasks.

I am willing to pay for a certificate,,frame will be around 6 square meters ,but I'd like to make it expandable to 12 square meters for 2 Kw.Later.

any help out there would be appreciated,,,I'm in Queensland Australia.

Hi Bruce,

Unfortunately I don't know too many people in Australia. You might give a call to Peter at Solar Inverters Pty Ltd (http://www.solarinverters.com.au/) (number is on their Web site). He's a great guy! They are in NSW, not too far from the border with Queensland. He may know someone in your neck of the woods that can help you.
