I'm just wondering whether it would be worthwhile giving this topic its own little room?
It's something which affects almost everybody living in a house, and whilst there's been some interesting/informative posts, these aren't necessarily easily found by the casual visitor.

Good idea Joe. Lighting is one area where newbies (and oldbies) can make an immediate difference in their power bills and carbon footprint. Whadda ya say Rob?

Hi Joe et. al.,
I'm still "on the road", currently in Montana (yeah, got the hat!). Lighting might be a good one for its own forum section, on the other hand, we don't exactly have the traffic at this time to justify spreading content even thinner. It also fits already quite nicely into the building materials or BOS forums. I'll have to think about it a bit and decide when I get back home.
Are there any votes that would like to see a separate forum for lighting?

I have +1 (obviously)
;)
I agree with the leanness of traffic, but would it be spreading the content thinner or just making it narrower, and easier to find, thus encouraging more activity? (A matter of semantics perhaps.)
Anyway, have a good gallivant and bring back plenty of presents - er - information for us waiting at home.
