I am trying to source inverters.
I have found windy boy, unfortunatly the nominal voltage of the correctly sized windyboy leaves me with a nominal DC input voltage higher than what I calculate to be the nominal voltage of my customers generator, in other words, I get electricity only during a nice blow.
I have heard of PowerOne (formerly Magnatec) but can not find a supplier, or even a web page with up to date products.
Any other ideas?

Hello Mike

I have tried the Windy Boy 6 K.W. inverter. The printed circuit design is very bad with the fet driver integrated circuits very remote from the fet inputs. The printed circuit board tracks for the fet inputs are passing through the 600volt capacitor banks. Just a matter of time before it goes bang.

The Power One inverters are not available in England. Tried five E mails and phone calls. That’s probably why the E mails are returned from the web page.
