internal combustion and greenhouse gas

Here's some food for thought.
A 5 HP Briggs and statton engine running for 1 hour, puts out the same greenhouse gas emissions as a 1996 to new SUV puts out on a 7 hour highway drive!
Think of all the lawn mowers, riding mowers, Generators and other small gas engines!
There is a company that is making catalytic converters for small engines, But who want's to put a $400 piece on a $300 lawn mower??????

I got tired and sick (sick and tired) of trudging behind a stinky noisy polluting lawnmower...for only 1/2 hour at a time (small lawn). Replaced the noisy stinky trimmer with a cordless unit...solar powered by home system, and the lawnmower with something my grandfather would have recognized...reel type walk behind. Good exercise and you can still hear the birdies sing:D.
