Hi everyone.

Well I found this site only a couple of days ago, and I thought I would introduce myself and my site.

My web site, http://www.thebackshed.com has been up for about 5 years now. There are currently two main areas to the site, HomeGrown Power and DIY CNC. The Homegrown Power site has a lot of home made windmill infomation and projects that may be of interrest. Most of the windmill related stuff is based on the Fiser & Paykey washing machine motor, very easy to get hold of in Australia and New Zealand, but the site also has info on controllers, blades, furling, etc. There's a lot there. The CNC site might be interresting to anyone building their own CNC router.

I also have a forum up and running, with about 400 plus members. Some of the topics of late have been the 7 phase conversions and MPPT design.

Anyway, its good to see the growing interrest in windmills and clean energy from Canada, I'll add a link on my site.

Glenn

Hi Glenn,

Welcome to Green Power Talk!
That's a very interesting forum you have there! As coincidence has it I was reading through lots of it about a week ago. Not sure how I got there, probably from a link someone posted on the OtherPower board. I am interested in the wind MPPT information, as this is an on-and-off project of mine as well. You have quite a bit of activity going there, I'm envious. ;)

I've added a link to the list of links on my business site (http://www.solacity.com/Links.htm). The plan is to copy those links over to the wind links page on this forum some day (then again, it means keeping two sets of links pages updated).
