The integration of Pv and capturing the Solar thermal in the same Footprint on the roof is a Real WIN situation for some applications. The thermal portion is out of sight. What a great idea!!! Paul:)

That's neat Paul!
Is there a manufacturer's site somewhere that has more info on this?
Someone asked me recently about combining PV with solar water heating, I told him I didn't know of anything that would do that. Seems it exists after all.
I wonder how well this works. The efficiency of PV drops off pretty precipitously at the temperatures that are needed for hot water. Or is this more of a "pre-heat" for water going into the hot water heater?
Nice construction though. Great picture!

I forgot the Link; It's http://www.dawnsolar.com/gallery.html
Where I picked these photos a couple weeks ago!! View the residential Installs., and since all things come back to design, It can be sized and Integrated for whatever BTU 's are required for your house Hot water DHW as well as some low temp radiant (120 deg F) max. Lets face it a South facing roof get hot any time of the year if the Isolation is there. LEEDS certification likes this as noted. And as I read In a Book ("From the ground up") Your Roof and Attic is the biggest solar collector so why not utilize this hidden resource!! More to follow
