It came to my attention that quite a few of you are using dial-up to access the Internet. I suppose that shouldn't be a surprise, given the off-grid nature of many of you. Downloading threads with pictures is probably painfully slow for those on dial-up.

If there is enough interest, I can change the forum to show thumbnails in the threads/posts, and the full pictures is then only downloaded when clicking on a thumbnail. While more convenient for dial-up, it is a little bit less convenient for those on broadband Internet, as it means another click (and page load) for each image one wants to view. Unfortunately thumbnails are a forum-wide setting, I can't enable it for just a few accounts, it's all or nothing.

So, those on dial-up (or those on broadband opposed to it), let me know what you think or want. The forum is here for you.

Personally Rob, I can wait for the pictures to load in their current state.I have learned to go and do something else while I wait for pages to load.I have to remind my wife to wait for them to load as well but she still gets "page rage" from time to time.
