Hi everyone,

I've searched lots of forum as like this, finally i'm very glad to find here. I hope users are so active in here.
I was working at petro chemical company for 7 years. But now I've jumped to wind power sector. My company produces wind tower. I'm a quality engineer in here. I don't have too much experiences about wind towers and now I have a case about offset problem after circumference welding. This is the main production problem. We get offseet problem every plates which connection with circumference weld. Our general tolerance is around 1mm- 2mm according to plate thicknesses although we measure over 3mm or minus 3mm.

Can it be about welding process or rolling to plates parameters or fixing. We use same material for plates and same rolling machine.

I hope, I can explain my problem and some one have experience about this sector.

Have a good days...
