G'day, most peeps suggest using 1/0 wire size between batteries but trying to find red and black heat shrink to fit these is like pulling teeth. At least without buying a truck load. Am I able to ask where in Canada can I get some of these without having to mortgage the house:eek:.
tks to all

ok, thanks. Tried to do online purchase but hit some snags. Have you done any online ordering or you went directly in store?

Hey, got er done, thanks for the info. Had a little glitch with the street address, was using a comma after the house number, didn't like that.

I didn't know where you located so didn't know if you'd have to do mail order, which I've never done... I live close enough to the Cambridge store.
With the posties just tossing packages into storage trailers during the strike, I hope you get it this year. If not, hopefully this decade.

Really only need it for the spring install but wanted to get my wires done during the winter, so hopefully the postal dilemma will be solved by April
Besides the postal shenanigans, the SAQ (Quebec version of LCBO), are also going through rotating strikes. Lucky to be living on the border so I can slide into Ontario for some refreshments:blink:.
And to add, it appears I was the first to order online with Sayal.com, so they told me.

Interesting way to make lugs John!
Don't know what country you are in, we sell 1/0 lugs for CAD$2.59 a piece (https://www.solacity.com/product/quickcable-max-copper-lug/). They're tin-plated copper, so it's easy to solder for those that don't have crimper. Copper pipe is not cheap these days either. Copper has become an expensive metal!
