Hi! I'm pretty new to the renewable/green energy scene, but I think it's what I want to pursue as a career, with a focus on Solar. Suggestions for other types of energy are welcome as well, though! I just turned 20, just got my Associates degree, and I'm ready to pursue a 4 year degree (or more) but I don't know where to go or how to apply to colleges to learn about clean energy. My questions are:
Do you suggest going to a university for this type of career?
What are some good colleges to effectively learn as much as I can about renewable energy?
What is the technical/ academic name for this stuff :cheesy:?
How can I learn more about this stuff so I can teach people around me basics? Are there any good books?
Sorry if my questions are overloaded or amateurish! I've done my best to look into this but I haven't been able to find a good resource without doing heavy academic research :o I guess I'm just eager to learn as much as I can about renewable energy.
