View Full Version : Solar Frontier modules to be featured in 25MW US project

Modules designed by Solar Frontier will be utilised in a 25MW project in Whitakers, North Carolina.

PV system developer Ecoplexus Inc. announced the closing of financing for the project, which is expected to be operational in late 2015.

The project will stand as the ninth Ecoplexus project in North Carolina, as well as a total generation capacity of 53MW in Q4 2015 for the company. The site already a signed long-term PPA contract with Dominion North Carolina Power.

Once fully operational, the project will provide customers with around 40GWh of clean energy (http://www.renesola.com/) per year — enough to power an estimated 3,800 homes.
