PV (http://us.renesola.com/) equipment specialist INDEOtec SA has secured an order for its OCTOPUS II PECVD deposition tool with French R&D centre, Institut Photovoltaïque d’Ile-de-France (IPVF).
INDEOtec said that the tool, which can deposit a wide range of materials in single or multiple stack configurations, would be used for developing next-generation, high-yield PV cell devices,
Dr. Omid Shojaei, CEO of INDEOtec said: “We highly appreciate the confidence of IPVF in our competence in the field of PECVD deposition technology and we are convinced that our system will enable the team to gain substantially higher expertise in their specific research field”.
This is the fourth PECVD tool order that the company has received and is expecting to install and commission the system in the second quarter of 2016.
