turbine recomendations

Hi,

I am looking for information on a good quality make of micro turbine, approx 10Kw. Does anybody know of some affordable but good quality make of unit I should be looking for?

Hi Andrew,

The go-to unit on this side of the pond is Bergey's Excel 10kW for a turbine of that size. They have been around for a long time, the bugs have been worked out of it, and they are pretty reliable. Of course, not nearly as cheap as a Chinese unit, and no idea if they are available in your area.

Maybe you already know about these people but check out "AWP" from South Africa.
I have a Chinese wind turbine I got from ebay that is working out really well and these turbines designs seem to be very similar.
