Hi All, I have a two year old 10kw microfit ground mount system which I debating wether to insure. It is on a vacant piece of land (the hunt camp) and there is no residence to speak of there. The inurance company will not give me an extension of my homeowners policy to cover this. My homeowners insurance covers liability on the vacant property. I got a quote of $870 to insure just the panels, and this does not include loss of income.
My question is: is it worth insuring them? They have been there for 2 years already and nothing has happened to them.... I have attached a picture of the system just for fun.
