Here's something that I've been using to keep track of my Aurora Wind and Solar inverters.
I have a small Fit-PC that I leave running with the communicator software and hooked to my home wifi. The Fit-PC only use 7watts running. I was able to pick one up on ebay for $200 new. A cheap netbook would also work well, low power and cost.
I have Logmein.com installed on my Fit-PC. It's free, simple to install and you can see the communicator software running from any PC, iPad, or iPhone anywhere in the world. The iPad and iPhone apps work really well.
Anyway this is my solution and thought I'd share if anyone else is looking for a way to do this.
